Wow, this term is going by so quickly. We have been busy celebrating events like Janmastami, Prabhupada’s Appearance Day and Balaram’s Appearance. Tomorrow for Radhamasthami we will be learning and creating things that connect to Radharani.
There has been a slight change to our weekly homework this term as I am sure you have noticed. Please encourage your child to complete their homework (you can help them too) and return it to school on Friday. I was unable to mark last weeks homework but I will catch up with the marking this weekend.
There has been a big change in spelling this term and I have received some positive feedback about it from both parents and the children. I reduced the number of words to learn each week and I have also started to use words that fit a particular common spelling pattern. Because of this some words may perhaps seem too easy for your child but they have been given so that children can begin to identify and use these common spelling patterns. Once they become familiar with these patterns children typically become more confident and capable at spelling new and unknown words.
I have misplaced the data cable to retrieve my photos from my camera and phone but when I do find it I will share with you some of the wonderful photos from our recent festival days.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
