It has been an exciting term so far in Krishna Balaram Class.
In writing this term we are focusing on adding details into our stories so that our writing is more interesting for our reader. We are learning about a variety of ways in which we can add detail such as using verbs and adjectives. We are also looking at the importance of correctly sequencing our stories so that our stories make sense.
In Maths we have been working on our number knowledge. In the second part of this term we will be looking at fractions, measurement and learning our times tables.
Our topic for this term is Endangered Animals. We have been learning about how some animals are safe, some are threatened, some are endangered and some are extinct.
We have also looked at what causes animals to become endangered or extinct. We learned about deforestation, hunting and pollution as the main causes.
Today Krishna Balaram class led the whole school assembly and we shared what we had learned about endangered animals and how Krishna wants us to treat them. We also talked about what we can do to reduce pollution.
